The boys finished their first week at their new school (just about anyway) and have already been reporting that it has been a positive transition ~ although they miss their old friends, they are enjoying meeting new friends and getting to be a part of their new school community! We are so proud of our boys, they are such good little men! This week they have school pictures, a Dominoes' Pizza night, and Science night... always something fun around each corner.

The boys got new DS3's for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa and are having fun playing with those, it seems like every minute that they are not doing homework or jumping on the trampoline. Sophie has been very into coloring and drawing and is doing an excellent job working on her "people" as well as trying her hand at writing a few letters!

We had a fun time when Abuela was here, visiting over the Christmas break... and even took a trip out to Rawhide for a day - fun in the sun, Arizona style! We'll post some pics from that fun day :)

We are really enjoying the new house, and the fact that the weather is excellent doesn't hurt when you look at the acre that it is set on... with a horse arena, the in-the-ground trampoline, the playset area, and a nice covered patio to boot... we are feeling very blessed.

We are trying to plan our annual family winter-trip-to-the-snow to sled up in the area around Flagstaff... really hope the snow holds and it works out. We had so much fun last year, we'd really like to do it again. ... also in the works, we're planning a summer trip to the Dominican Republic. Tio is graduating from high school at the end of May and we're hoping to plan a trip for a week or so to go hang on the beach and visit some of Luis's family over there - can't wait to get the tickets and make it official.
