Most nights, Luisy and Christian find their way to Mommy and Daddy's bed... most nights, Mommy takes one of them to the guest room so that we don't all get crammed in the bed (it is only a King size bed...) Mommy took this picture one morning; Daddy was away for work, so when the boys came to Mommy's bed, three three of us fit... When Mommy got up, the boys cuddled up together.

Rappy Rirthday Ruisy!
Luisy has pretty much been wearing his new Scooby Doo costume since he got it on Sunday...He is wearing it right now even.

Scooby and the pirate played in the boys' room last Sunday...the kiddos who came to Luisy's birthday party had a great time playing in Luisy's room and exploring his toys... the room looked kinda like a tornado had hit. We've since recovered, thanks for funding from FEMA. The boys did have to sleep in a tent in the backyard for two nights (just kidding!) But it did take lots of coaxing and bribery to get them to do their part to help clean up that mess!

Luisy and Chrisitian have had a blast playing with the new Elefun game that Josh and Paulina (and their baby Ian) brought for Luisy's birthday present. The game is great, Luisy can run the whole thing by himself...The boys have to chase littly butterflies as they poof out the top of the elephant's trunk... They were cheering each other on and getting really excited about catching a butterfly.

Luisy and Christian and their Daddy, and Patrick and his Daddy watched birthday balloons float away, high up into the sky!

After Luisy's birthday party on Saturday, April 21st, the boys let a bunch of balloons go flying up into the sky. They even made a wish...but didn't tell...so that it would come true!

On Luisy's birthday, Grandma and Grandpa came over to our house after we got home from Chuckie Cheese's! They even brought a cake that said "Happy Birthday Luisy"...The boys really loved eating the "crunchies" off of the top of the cake (the candy letters.) When Luisy got out of the bath the cake was on the table ready to go!

Luisy had a good time cutting his own cake with a "real" knife :o)

Luisy even served his own cake! He did a fine job using the pie-server and placing the pieces of cake on each person's plate!

Cheeseba-meese! Chrisitan and his bunny are enjoying their last minutes together here, before the bunny was sacrificed... We had a really nice Easter - Titi Lissa is visiting and so we made our annual trip to Ikea for Easter breakfast :o) Funny tradition, but hey, it is ours and we're sticking to it! So - started the day with an egg hunt at Patrick's house, thanks to his daddy and mommy there were tons of eggs to hunt...and then it was off to Ikea where we ate some eggs and shopped a bit. The boys picked out a new toy and away we went. When we got home, it was nap time and after that we spent the rest of the day at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We ate dinner and played a lot - Uncle Mikey came by too! The boys were jazzed to see him. We watched Cinderella (for the second time in seven days) and hung out for a bit longer. Christian did wear his pincess dress and "glass" slippers (ok, so maybe they are plastic, but he doesn't really know the difference) to the Granparents' house - so he was already in character when we decided to pick a movie! On the way home, we pretended that we were all characters in the movie - that'll be a story for another day.

We hope that everyone had a wonderful, peaceful Easter!

Christian is enjoying opening up his plastic bunnies and dumping the jelly beans out into his basket. Christian liked his big, giant chocolate bunny, but in his book, jelly beans are where its at!

Yes, that is a HUGE chocolate bunny in Luisy's hand. The bunny was good to us this year, what can we say?! It'll take days to really discover how much chocolate has been smeared on couch pillows, walls, door frames, etc. - it was all worth it, though!

This is our little update on pool progress! We've got the concrete all in and the sidewalk is in now too. The boys enjoyed exploring a little with their daddy - just to see how it was...Christian continues to presume that every day when we come home the water will be in the pool. He is convinced it is ready to fill!

Christian and Patrick (our neighbor) are washing Patrick's bike. Such responsible little guys. Luisy was just waiting for a chance to drive away...at least he waited until Christian stepped out of the way - and then he was off like a bolt of lightening!

Luisy (and Christian too, for that matter) have been really enjoying riding their friends "bikesicle". They really love buzzing around the cul-de-sac in front of our house. Luisy and Christian were in fine form last weekend - they actually took turns riding!

Such hard workers...Washing the little truck. It was such a nice day on Sunday - the boys woke up from their nap well-rested and ready to go. Before we went outside, Christian had to get ready. At one point, he had no clothes and his little helmet on :o) Pretty FUNNY! Luckily, before we went outside, he agreed to get his shorts and shirt on!

Christian (front, blue helmet), Patrick (bumble-bee helmet), and Luisy (red helmet) had a great time on Sunday afternoon playing outside in the cul-de-sac on their bikes. The boys decided that the Escalade needed a wash, so Patrick and Christian started spraying and washing the little truck!
