Today, Luisy and Christian spent 30 minutes taking apart a pumpkin and cleaning it out so that we could cook it and eat it. They had lots of fun with the insides of the pumpkin - it is a little yucky - so what better fun for a couple of little boys? They had fun with the bowl of gunk and using tongs and spoons to scoop it and pick it up! We cooked the pumpkin in the oven and ate it with butter (like a squash). They liked it - but, as Luisy put it, not more than macaroni and cheese (which is still number 1).
