Today, Luisy and Christian spent 30 minutes taking apart a pumpkin and cleaning it out so that we could cook it and eat it. They had lots of fun with the insides of the pumpkin - it is a little yucky - so what better fun for a couple of little boys? They had fun with the bowl of gunk and using tongs and spoons to scoop it and pick it up! We cooked the pumpkin in the oven and ate it with butter (like a squash). They liked it - but, as Luisy put it, not more than macaroni and cheese (which is still number 1). 

Luisy is intent on filling his little bowl to the top with pumpkin insides :o) He had fun with the slimy strings and slippery seeds.

Do you wonder what has Luisy doing flips? Why is he so happy, you ask? Well...down in the corner of the picture is just the top of his new favorite toy - the boys got a new car this weekend - just like Grandpa did (well, Grandpa got a Dodge Charger with a Hemi - and the boys got a battery-powered Escalade, but who is comparing?)

Luisy learning how to work the CD and radio. It actually works - it picks up FM radio and has 10 songs on a fun "CD" (doesn't really come out, just a set of recorded tunes).
